Senior Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist to join their dynamic production team in Glasgow . You will be responsible for editing raw footage into compelling video content, as well as creating engaging motion graphics and animations to enhance visual storytelling. This role requires a strong understanding of narrative structure, pacing, visual aesthetics, and proficiency in industry-standard editing and motion graphics software. You will collaborate closely with directors, producers, and marketing teams to bring creative concepts to life across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging final video products.
• Design and animate motion graphics, titles, and visual effects to complement video content.
• Collaborate with creative teams to conceptualize and storyboard video projects.
• Ensure all video projects adhere to brand guidelines and technical specifications.
• Manage multiple video projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines.
• Stay current with the latest video editing and motion graphics techniques and software advancements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing and motion graphics work.
• Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
• Experience with color correction, sound design, and audio mixing.
• Based in or able to commute to Glasgow for this in-office role.
