About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated SEO Specialist to join their growing marketing team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is pivotal in driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings for their online platforms. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth keyword research, performing technical SEO audits, and implementing on-page and off-page optimization strategies. The ideal candidate is data-driven, possesses a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, and is passionate about improving online visibility. You will work collaboratively with content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement recommendations to improve website crawlability, indexability, and site speed.
- Develop and execute on-page and off-page optimization strategies, including content optimization and link building.
- Monitor search engine rankings, traffic, and conversion rates, providing detailed performance reports.
- Collaborate with content writers to ensure all content is optimized for search engines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm updates and SEO best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Experience with website analytics tools and the ability to interpret data into actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of both technical SEO and content strategy.
