About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented SEO Specialist to join their growing digital marketing team, operating remotely to support their Portsmouth -based operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive targeted traffic, and increase website visibility. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO principles, tools, and best practices, along with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the online presence of our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop and execute comprehensive on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, site architecture, and link profiles for search engines.
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO algorithms , trends, and best practices, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar digital marketing role with an SEO focus.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Experience with technical SEO, content optimization, and link building strategies.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts clearly.
