SEO Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical SEO Specialist to enhance their online visibility and drive organic traffic to their websites. Based in our Southampton office, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building techniques. You will work closely with the digital marketing team to ensure our client's online content ranks highly in search engine results, contributing to lead generation and brand awareness within a supportive and growth-oriented team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
• Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including content optimization, technical SEO, and link building.
• Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, providing regular reports on key metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with content and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital efforts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a track record of improving search engine rankings.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and Google Analytics.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO aspects, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
