About the Role
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and analytical SEO Specialist to enhance their online visibility and drive organic traffic to their website. This role is based in Plymouth and operates on a hybrid working model, offering a blend of office-based teamwork and remote flexibility. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and monitoring search engine rankings. Your expertise will be crucial in improving search engine performance and attracting a larger, more targeted audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization and new content creation.
- Optimize website content, meta descriptions, titles, and headers for search engines.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues affecting search performance.
- Monitor website analytics, search engine rankings, and traffic trends using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure strategies remain effective.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar digital marketing role focused on SEO.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Experience with keyword research, site audits, link building, and content optimization.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive SEO strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
