About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic SEO Specialist to join their marketing team in Edinburgh . This role will be instrumental in driving organic search visibility and website traffic by developing and implementing effective SEO strategies. You will conduct in-depth keyword research, perform on-page and off-page optimization, and stay ahead of algorithm updates. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.

• Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link building and outreach initiatives.
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports on key metrics and trends.
• Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and SEO industry best practices, adapting strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic search rankings and traffic.
• Strong proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience with content strategy and its impact on SEO.
