Service Advisor

Duties of the Service Advisor:

• Manage the entire customer journey from booking through to vehicle handover
• Handle service, repair, and MOT bookings efficiently and accurately
• Prepare detailed job cards, estimates, and repair authorisations
• Liaise effectively between customers and workshop technicians
• Provide regular updates, explanations, and advice to customers
• Coordinate parts ordering and communicate with suppliers
• Process invoices, payments, and warranty claims
• Maintain a professional, welcoming reception and waiting area

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Service Advisor in a franchise or independent garage
• Good understanding of vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOT procedures
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities
• IT-literate, with the ability to adapt to management systems
• Hold a full, clean UK driving license
