Setting Out Engineer

Hours: Monday to Friday, initially 8 hour days then site will likely operate to 10 hours once the work properly starts Day Rate: Inside IR35 (umbrella) Overview We are looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support two major foundation projects based at Ilford Depot.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for major foundation and civils works.
• Supporting piling operations and ensuring works are delivered to specification.
• Setting out and monitoring reinforced concrete structures.
• Working closely with site teams, subcontractors and project managers.
• Quality checks, measurements and as-built records.
• Ensuring works are completed safely and in line with project requirements. Essential Experience
• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer.
• Strong background in complex reinforced concrete works.
• Experience working on large foundation projects. Knowledge of:
• Piling
• Shuttering/Formwork
• Concrete pours
• Reinforcement works
• Experience working on major civils, infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Ability to work in busy environments with heavy plant and vehicle movements
