Shift Engineer

Job Title: Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Wembley - 4 on 4 off

Location: Wembley Hours: 4 on / 4 off, days and nights, 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00 / 19:00–07:00)

We’re recruiting for a Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a Facilities Management team in Wembley, working a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern covering both days and nights. This Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) role suits someone who wants long blocks of time off in a row.

Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) — what you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site

• Responding to breakdowns and out-of-hours callouts during your shift

• Monitoring building services and BMS-controlled systems overnight

• Supporting mechanical/fabric tasks where required as part of a multi-skilled shift team

• Handover reporting between shift changes

As Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias), you’ll need:

• BS7671 Wiring Regulations - 18th Edition (essential)

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent

• Proven experience in a facilities management, mobile maintenance, or building services environment

• Strong fault-finding ability and a proactive approach

• Comfortable with a 12-hour, 4 on/4 off rotating pattern
