Site Engineer - Highways Scheme Location: Cambridgeshire Rate: £(Apply online only) per day - CIS or Ltd company available Duration: 6 months, rolling

About the Role

Are you a freelance Site Engineer with a highways background? We're looking for a Site Engineer to join a highways scheme in Cambridgeshire. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with experience on National Highways and local authority projects. You'll support the site team with setting out, quality control and day-to-day engineering of the highways works.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out highways works, including kerbs, drainage, pavements and associated infrastructure.
• Making sure works are delivered to specification and in line with National Highways and local authority requirements.
• Completing ITPs, check sheets and quality records.
• Recording as-builts and keeping accurate site records.
• Working closely with the Agent, foremen and subcontractors.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways schemes.
• A background on National Highways and local authority projects.
• EUSR 1 & 2- Essential
• First Aid (desirable)
