Site Engineer - Earthworks & Drainage Location: Cambridgeshire Rate: £(Apply online only) per day - CIS or Ltd company available Duration: 6 months, rolling

About the Role

Are you a freelance Site Engineer with an earthworks and drainage background? We're looking for a Site Engineer to join a civil engineering scheme in Cambridgeshire. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with solid earthworks and drainage experience to support delivery of a key package of works. You'll support the site team with setting out, quality control and day-to-day engineering of the earthworks and drainage works.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out earthworks, including cut and fill, formation levels and batters.
• Setting out drainage runs, chambers, attenuation and outfalls.
• Monitoring quantities and earthworks balances.
• Completing ITPs, check sheets and quality records, including testing.
• Recording as-builts and keeping accurate site records.
• Working closely with the Agent, foremen and subcontractors.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering schemes.
• A background in earthworks and drainage.
• EUSR 1 & 2- Essential
• First Aid (desirable)
