Site Engineer

Site Engineer – RC Frame Location: Norwich, Norfolk Duration: 12 months Start Date: Within 1 week Project: Reinforced Concrete (RC) Frame We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major construction project in Norwich, working on a reinforced concrete frame package. This is a 12-month position for an engineer with strong RC frame experience who can confidently manage engineering duties on site and work closely with the site management and construction teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ UK construction experience
• Essential: 4+ years’ experience working on RC frame projects
• Strong setting-out and surveying skills
• Experience with reinforced concrete structures and associated works
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Competent with relevant engineering/surveying equipment
• Strong understanding of QA, ITPs and site documentation
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a site team
• Relevant engineering qualifications
• Valid right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on the RC frame
• Checking dimensions, levels and alignment
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Liaising with subcontractors, site management and design teams
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to specification
• Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documentation
• Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with technical queries
• Carrying out inspections and assisting with QA processes Package
• 12-month contract
• Start within 1 week
• Norwich location
