About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Site Installation Engineer to join their growing team in Belfast . This position is focused on the hands-on installation, configuration, and commissioning of advanced technical systems within various client premises across Northern Ireland. You will be responsible for ensuring that all installations are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, contributing directly to client satisfaction and operational success. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical acumen and excellent practical skills, who is comfortable working independently on-site in a variety of environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the complete installation of technical equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
• Perform system setup, configuration, and initial testing to verify functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve any installation-related issues encountered on-site.
• Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on installation progress.
• Complete detailed site reports and documentation for each installation project.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order for all assignments.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a field engineering, installation, or technical role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Strong practical and hands-on technical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively on project sites.
• A full UK driving license is essential for travel to various locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
