Site Manager - Residential Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to oversee a prominent residential development project in London . This role is crucial for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the primary point of contact on-site, managing a diverse team of tradespeople and subcontractors, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring strict adherence to project timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Manage and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones effectively.
• Develop and implement detailed construction schedules, monitoring progress and proactively addressing any delays or issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and health and safety documentation.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and effective problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within the construction industry, particularly in residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, health and safety regulations, and building codes in the UK.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Relevant qualifications such as a SMSTS certificate and CSCS card are essential.
