Site Manager - Residential Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Manager to oversee a new residential development project in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves leading on-site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will be the main point of contact for all site activities, coordinating trades, managing resources, and upholding the highest standards of quality and health and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all daily site activities, including labour, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, site safety plans, and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement detailed project schedules, monitoring progress and identifying potential delays.
• Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the construction process, conducting regular inspections.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any site-related issues or queries.
• Manage site resources efficiently, including plant, equipment, and temporary facilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry, preferably with residential projects.
• Strong understanding of building regulations, health and safety legislation, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Relevant qualifications such as a CSCS card and SMSTS certification are essential.
