About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to oversee construction projects in the Leicester area. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This pivotal role involves managing on-site operations, coordinating various trades, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in delivering successful construction outcomes, contributing directly to the company's reputation for excellence in the construction industry .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day on-site operations, including programming, coordinating, and supervising construction works.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services.
• Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, delivery dockets, and incident logs.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to resolve site issues and ensure project objectives are met.
• Implement quality control procedures to guarantee the finished product meets all specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction sector.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
• Relevant construction management qualification (e.g., HNC/HND, CIOB).
• Valid CSCS card and first aid certification are essential.
