Freelance Site Manager – Fit Out
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor on a long-term freelance basis.This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong fit out background who is confident managing the finishing stages of a project and coordinating multiple trades to ensure a smooth delivery.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, with a particular focus on finishing trades, partitioning and the coordination of M&E interfaces and follow-on trades.
You will work closely with subcontractors and the wider project team to ensure works are properly sequenced, coordinated and delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
About You
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within a main contractor environment
* Strong fit out and finishing experience
* Confident managing finishing trades and follow-on trades
* Experience managing partitioning packages and M&E interfaces
* Strong understanding of sequencing and trade coordination
* Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades
* Strong understanding of health & safety and quality requirements
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
