Site Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee construction projects in and around Leicester . You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of construction processes and health and safety regulations. You will play a crucial part in delivering successful projects, managing diverse teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. This position offers the chance to work on varied projects within the vibrant Leicestershire construction landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labour to ensure efficient project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets required standards.
• Manage site logistics, including material procurement, equipment deployment, and site security.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills .
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management or a trade-related NVQ Level 4/5.
• Valid CSCS card and first aid certification are essential.
