This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a Site Manager looking to work on a high-profile education project with an established main contractor, with the potential for continued career opportunities following successful delivery of the scheme. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager with a strong background in main contracting and new-build construction. Experience delivering education, commercial, healthcare or other complex building projects would be highly advantageous.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
• Overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Coordinating site logistics, materials and resources.
• Monitoring progress against the construction programme.
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site management team.
• Managing subcontractor performance and ensuring works are delivered to specification.
• Attending and contributing to site meetings and progress meetings.
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress.
• Ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained throughout the project.
• Identifying and resolving site issues efficiently.
• Supporting the successful handover and completion of the project.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor environment. xwwtmva
