About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee construction projects in the Leicester area. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the construction site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role is crucial for maintaining project schedules and managing site operations effectively, working within a reputable construction firm known for its commitment to safety and quality in the East Midlands region. You'll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of diverse construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all site activities, including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and manage the project schedule, tracking progress and identifying potential delays.
• Liaise with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of work and identify any defects.
• Manage site resources efficiently to control costs and maintain budget adherence.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and health & safety legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Relevant CSCS card and SMSTS qualification are essential.
• Experience managing diverse construction projects from start to finish.
