About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to oversee a key construction project in Leicester . You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring that the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage multiple teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain stringent quality control standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in site management and a deep understanding of construction methodologies and health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Develop and implement detailed site logistics and management plans.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular site inspections.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour teams effectively.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, health and safety logs, and material inventories.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Relevant CSCS card and First Aid certification are essential.
