About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Site Supervisor to join their construction team in Norwich . This role is crucial for overseeing the day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for supervising site personnel, coordinating tasks, maintaining site records, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in construction and possess strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage site activities and support the wider project team in delivering successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of site operatives and subcontractors.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor site operations to maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Enforce health and safety regulations on site, conducting toolbox talks and inspections.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, material requisitions, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with the Site Manager and other team members to ensure smooth project flow.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor , Foreman, or similar role in construction.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site safety procedures.
• Ability to lead and motivate a site team effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation relevant to construction sites.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
