Site Supervisor – Facilities ManagementLocation: Kensington, London Salary: £57,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Supervisor to join the facilities management team at a prestigious museum in Kensington.
This is a permanent position suited to someone with a strong commercial facilities management background, ideally with a trade-based qualification or hands-on engineering background. You will be responsible for supervising engineers and contractors on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The RoleAs Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the site, providing leadership and support to the engineering and facilities team.
You will be responsible for:
Supervising and coordinating engineers and contractors working on site Acting as a key point of contact for the site-based engineering team Ensuring planned and reactive maintenance activities are carried out effectively Supporting the day-to-day delivery of the facilities management contract Ensuring engineers and contractors comply with site procedures, health & safety requirements and relevant legislation Assisting with the management and updating of compliance documentation and ensuring requirements are adhered to Monitoring the quality and progress of works completed on site Liaising with the wider facilities management team, contractors and client representatives Supporting the investigation and resolution of any operational or maintenance issues Ensuring records, permits, documentation and site information are maintained accurately Providing hands-on support and technical guidance where requiredAbout YouWe are looking for someone who has:
Previous supervisory experience within a commercial facilities management environment A trade or engineering background, with the technical understanding to supervise engineers effectively Experience managing or coordinating engineers, contractors or maintenance teams Good knowledge of health & safety, compliance and site procedures Experience working within a commercial or high-profile environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure A proactive and organised approach to site management Good attention to detail, particularly around compliance and documentation The confidence to liaise with clients, contractors and internal stakeholdersWhat's on Offer? £57,000 per annum Permanent position 40 hours per week Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Opportunity to work within a prestigious and high-profile museum environment A key supervisory position within an established facilities management operation
