Slinger Signaller

Kilnbridge is hiring experienced Slinger Signallers to join our team on a 12 month infrastructure project at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for competent Slinger Signallers to join a progressive contractor delivering on a major UK project.

Position: Slinger Signaller

Location: Heathrow Airport

Duration: 12 months

Status: PAYE

Pay rate: £21 Per hour

Hours: 47.5 hrs/week (paid)

Days: Monday - Friday

Weekends: At the managers discretion

Daily Start: 07:30

Daily Finish: 17:30

Available onsite parking: No

Start: ASAP

Slinger Signaller Responsibilities:

• A suitable Slinger Signaller must be able to safely sling & secure loads for lifting

• The Slinger Signaller must be able to direct crane operations using hand signals & radio communication

• An experienced Slinger Signaller must be able to inspect & select suitable lifting accessories

• A competent Slinger Signaller must be able to ensure loads are balanced & safely positioned

• Slinger Signaller should be able to maintain safe lifting & exclusion zones

• A competent Slinger Signaller must be able to follow lift plans, RAMS & site safety procedures

• A competent Slinger Signaller must be able to work closely with crane operators and lift supervisors

• A competent and responsible Slinger Signaller must be able to report and unsafe condition or defective equipment

Slinger Signaller Requirements:

• CPCS A40a ALL Duties - Slinger Signaller or NPORS N402 - All Duties

• Must have an in date Safety Critical Medical Certificate - SEQOHS accredited

• Must be a team player

• Must have good communication with the abilty give and take instruction over radio

• Must have the legal right to work in the UK

• Must be happy to undergo Criminal Record checks

• Must be able to provide proof of address

• Must be able to provide 5 year address history

• Must be able to provide 5 year work history
