About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Smart Contract Auditor to join their security-focused team in Stoke-on-Trent . This contract role is critical for ensuring the safety and integrity of their blockchain-based projects. You will be responsible for performing in-depth security reviews of smart contract code, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough static and dynamic analysis of smart contract code to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Review contract logic for security flaws, including reentrancy, integer overflows/underflows, and access control issues.
• Perform security assessments of tokenomics, DeFi protocols, and other blockchain-based systems.
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable reports detailing identified vulnerabilities and remediation strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest attack vectors, security exploits, and best practices in smart contract security.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure remediation of identified issues before deployment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in auditing smart contracts for major blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, BSC).
• In-depth knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and security best practices.
• Proficiency in smart contract programming languages (e.g., Solidity) and development tools.
• Experience with formal verification methods and security analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptography, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, essential for security analysis.
