About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and dedicated Social Care Officer to join their team serving the Newcastle upon Tyne area. In this multifaceted role, you will play a crucial part in assessing the needs of individuals and families, developing support plans, and coordinating services to enhance their well-being and independence. You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adults, and the elderly, providing guidance, advocacy, and practical assistance. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments for individuals and families requiring social care support.

- Provide advocacy and support to clients, ensuring their rights and needs are met.

Requirements
- Relevant qualification in social work, care, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working within a social care or community support setting.
- Strong understanding of social care legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent assessment, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse client groups.
- Proficiency in using case management systems and standard office software.
