Social Impact Manager

About the Role

Our client, a leading organization within the Charity & Voluntary sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Social Impact Manager to join their team in Cambridge . This crucial role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies to maximize the positive impact of the charity's work. You will be responsible for measuring outcomes, reporting on achievements, and identifying opportunities to enhance effectiveness and reach. Working in a hybrid capacity, you'll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that our interventions are not only effective but also sustainable and scalable, driving meaningful change within the community and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement frameworks for measuring and reporting on social impact and program effectiveness.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of charitable programs, gathering data and feedback from stakeholders.
• Produce comprehensive impact reports for funders, boards, and the public.
• Identify opportunities to enhance program design and delivery to maximize social impact in Cambridge and wider areas.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure impact considerations are integrated into all aspects of project planning and execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social impact assessment, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), or program management, ideally within the Charity & Voluntary sector.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data collection and analysis.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
• Understanding of non-profit operations and the social impact landscape.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• A strategic mindset with a passion for driving measurable positive change.
