About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and organized Social Media & E-commerce Assistant to support their online operations in Cambridge . This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and e-commerce support. You will play a key role in maintaining our online presence, assisting with content creation, engaging with our community, and supporting various e-commerce functions. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management of social media channels, including content scheduling and community engagement.
- Create engaging social media posts, stories, and basic visual content under the guidance of the marketing team.
- Monitor social media conversations and respond to customer inquiries and comments in a timely manner.
- Support e-commerce activities such as updating product descriptions, managing inventory feeds, and processing orders.
- Assist with the creation and deployment of email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
- Help track and report on social media and e-commerce performance metrics.
Requirements
- Previous internship or entry-level experience in social media, marketing, or e-commerce is advantageous.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
- Good written communication skills and an eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce operations and digital marketing principles.
- Proficiency in using standard office software and eagerness to learn new tools.
- A proactive attitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
