About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Social Media Manager to lead their social media initiatives for their e-commerce business, based remotely but with a focus on the Sheffield market. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately, sales conversions. This role requires a deep understanding of various social media platforms, content creation, community management, and paid social advertising. The ideal candidate is creative, analytical, and passionate about leveraging social media to build a strong online brand presence and connect with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with e-commerce goals and brand identity.
- Manage and grow the company's presence across key social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter).
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and high-quality content, including text, images, and video.
- Develop and manage paid social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences and drive conversions.
- Monitor social media trends, conversations, and competitor activity, identifying opportunities and potential risks.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, reporting on key insights and making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Foster community engagement, respond to comments and messages, and manage customer interactions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Social Media Management , preferably within an e-commerce environment.
- Proven success in developing and executing social media strategies that drive measurable results.
- Expertise in content creation, campaign management, and paid social advertising.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics tools and reporting.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
