About the Role
Our client is searching for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead their online presence and engagement strategies in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for developing and implementing impactful social media campaigns across various platforms to build brand awareness, drive website traffic, and foster community interaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a flair for creative content creation and a deep understanding of social media analytics and trends. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and achieve key business objectives, contributing to a collaborative and innovative digital marketing function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing goals.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging and relevant content (text, images, video) for social media channels.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities for engagement.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance optimization.
- Analyze social media metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports on performance and insights.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build online communities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of major social platforms.
- Excellent content creation skills, including copywriting, basic graphic design, and video editing.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Strong understanding of social media advertising principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
