About the Role

Our client is searching for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead their online presence and engagement strategies in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for developing and implementing impactful social media campaigns across various platforms to build brand awareness, drive website traffic, and foster community interaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a flair for creative content creation and a deep understanding of social media analytics and trends. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and achieve key business objectives, contributing to a collaborative and innovative digital marketing function.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing goals.
Create, curate, and manage engaging and relevant content (text, images, video) for social media channels.
Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities for engagement.
Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance optimization.
Analyze social media metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports on performance and insights.
Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build online communities.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of major social platforms.
Excellent content creation skills, including copywriting, basic graphic design, and video editing.
Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
Strong understanding of social media advertising principles and best practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
