About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and results-driven Social Media Manager to spearhead their online community engagement efforts through a fully remote position. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic social media plan that enhances brand visibility, drives engagement, and fosters a loyal online community. Collaborating with the marketing and content teams, you will craft compelling content, monitor social trends, and analyze performance to ensure maximum impact. This is a pivotal role in shaping our client's digital voice and presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content, including text, image, and video posts, that aligns with brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, conversations, and mentions of the brand, responding appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive and active online community.
- Analyze social media metrics and performance data to provide regular reports and actionable insights for strategy optimization.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure social media efforts are integrated with broader campaigns and initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a track record of building engaged online communities.
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills, with an ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.
- Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into effective social media strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, essential for working effectively in a remote capacity .
