About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Manager to manage their online presence and community engagement from their Glasgow office. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies across various platforms to build brand awareness, drive website traffic, and foster strong customer relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and a strategic approach to content creation and community management. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure a cohesive brand message and contribute to the overall digital marketing success, building a vibrant and engaged online community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies that align with business goals and increase brand visibility.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content (text, images, video) for all social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity, responding promptly and professionally.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive community environment.
- Analyze social media performance data, track key metrics, and provide regular reports with actionable insights for optimization.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of growing social media presence.
- Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, basic graphic design, and video editing abilities.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize social media campaigns.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
