About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to lead their social media presence from their office in Cardiff . This role is crucial for building brand awareness, engaging with our online community, and driving traffic and conversions through strategic social media campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy, managing all social media channels, and creating compelling content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate is a social media native with a passion for digital trends and community building.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across all relevant platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and high-quality content, including text, image, and video posts.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, and foster community growth.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and integrate social media into broader campaigns.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and visual content creation skills.
- Demonstrable experience managing social media campaigns and growing online communities.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of current social media best practices and emerging trends.
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
