About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Marketing Manager to lead their social media initiatives in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, UK . This role involves developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies across all relevant platforms to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. You will be responsible for managing the company's social media presence, fostering community interaction, and driving measurable results. The role operates on a hybrid model, allowing for a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative social media strategies aligned with business and marketing objectives.
• Manage and grow the company's presence across key social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook).
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging and relevant content, including text, image, and video posts.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends, conversations, and competitor activity, responding promptly to comments and messages.
• Analyze social media performance metrics, report on key insights, and recommend strategic adjustments.
• Collaborate with the marketing, PR, and customer service teams to ensure a unified brand voice and message.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Marketing Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of campaign success.
• In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
• Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
• Excellent content creation, copywriting, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data, derive insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Experience in managing paid social media advertising campaigns is a plus.
