About the Role
Our client is looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Marketing Specialist to join their vibrant team in Newcastle upon Tyne . In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging social media strategies that build brand awareness, foster community, and drive traffic to our client's platforms. You will manage all social media channels, create compelling content, and interact with our online audience to ensure a consistent brand voice and excellent customer experience, playing a crucial part in shaping the online presence of our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging, high-quality content (text, images, video) tailored to each platform.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, conversations, and competitor activity.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze social media metrics and report on campaign performance, making recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Marketing Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics.
- Strong content creation skills, including copywriting and basic graphic design/video editing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience with social media advertising campaigns is a plus.
