About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketing Specialist to manage and grow their brand presence across key social platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing engaging content strategies, managing paid social campaigns, and fostering community interaction. This role is integral to our e-commerce strategy, focusing on driving brand awareness, traffic, and conversions through innovative social media initiatives. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure all social media activities are aligned with brand messaging and business objectives, contributing to the overall success of our online retail operations in Edinburgh .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute daily content calendars across platforms like Instagram , Facebook , Pinterest , and TikTok .
- Create and manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including targeting, budgeting, and A/B testing for optimal performance.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities for engagement.
- Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner, building positive relationships with followers.
- Analyze social media data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to produce visually appealing and engaging social media assets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing social media accounts and running paid social campaigns for brands, preferably in e-commerce .
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics).
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with an ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.
- Creative thinking and a passion for developing innovative social media content.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
