Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV panels, mounting systems, and associated electrical components on rooftops and ground-mounted structures.
- Ensure all installations comply with electrical regulations, building codes, and company safety standards.
- Perform system testing and commissioning to verify functionality and performance.
- Assist in site assessments to determine the most effective installation plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly handled.
- Provide clear communication with clients regarding the installation process and system overview.
Requirements
- Previous experience in solar panel installation or a related trade such as roofing, electrical installation, or construction.
- Understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, and experience with safety harnesses and equipment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills, essential for site operations in Bristol .
