Key Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients on matters such as divorce, child custody, financial settlements, and prenuptial agreements.
• Draft legal documents including applications, affidavits, and consent orders.
• Conduct legal research and prepare cases for court hearings.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings where necessary.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing empathetic support.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of the family law department.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate.
• Demonstrable experience in handling a variety of family law cases.
• Strong knowledge of family law legislation and procedures.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload with precision and care.
