Solution Architect (Functional)

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for strong hands‑on experience with WMS solutions, ideally Blue Yonder, within contract logistics or 3PL environments.
• We need expertise in analysing business processes and translating them into functional designs, process flows, and system configurations.
• We value a solid understanding of warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory processes.
• We are looking for proven ability to lead workshops, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• We require strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills, with a proactive and detail‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

• We design and deliver end‑to‑end WMS solutions by translating complex business and operational requirements into scalable system architectures.
• We lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align on requirements, validate solutions, and drive successful outcomes.
• We ensure solution quality by supporting testing phases, validating outputs, and managing defects throughout the lifecycle.
• We drive successful system implementations, including deployment readiness, go‑live support, and post‑implementation optimisation.
• We identify opportunities for innovation, standardisation, and continuous improvement across global WMS solutions.
