Solution Architect

6-Month Contract | Belfast (Hybrid) | Inside IR35 Leading Technology Company

We are currently supporting a leading technology company in the search for an experienced Solution Architect to join a major infrastructure and cloud transformation programme.

This role is ideal for a hands-on architect with a strong background in designing complex infrastructure solutions across cloud, hosting and modern workplace environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end infrastructure and cloud solutions for enterprise-scale programmes. Engage with business and technical stakeholders to define solution requirements. Produce high-quality architecture documentation and technical designs. Support solution development from concept through to delivery. Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to best practice.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Solution Architect designing complex infrastructure solutions. Strong expertise across: Microsoft Azure Microsoft 365 VMware/vSAN Cloud-native platforms Hybrid hosting environments Infrastructure modernisation initiatives Experience working on large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.

Desirable Skills

Cyber security technologies and frameworks, including: Zero Trust Microsoft Sentinel / SOAR Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Assessment Privileged Access Management (PAM) Attack Surface Management IT/OT Security Integration Awareness of SQL and Oracle database environments. Experience with ODA and KVM hypervisors
