Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and standards.
• Contribute to menu development and recipe creation, including costing and sourcing of ingredients.
• Manage kitchen inventory, stock rotation, and ordering to control costs and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety , hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, maintaining operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a similar catering or hospitality environment.
• Strong culinary skills with a good understanding of various cooking techniques and international cuisine.
• Experience with menu planning , costing, and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
• Knowledge of current food safety and hygiene standards.
