Sport Therapy & Rehabilitation Assistant
Company: Plymouth Marjon University | Salary: £24,685 | Hours: Part-time | Location: Plymouth, PL6 8BH | Working pattern: On-site | Job type: Contract
We are seeking a Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Assistant who is passionate about working in both clinical and academic environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys applied practice, collaborative working, and supporting the development of future sports therapy professionals.
You will work alongside our Clinic Manager and clinic team, supporting the delivery of a student-led commercial clinic and contributing to pitch-side provision, community engagement, and professional networking.
What you'd be doing:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of our successful commercial clinic
- Developing and promoting sports therapy, rehabilitation, and related professional services
- Assessing, treating, and delivering care to patients and clients as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Supervising and supporting students completing their on-site clinical hours and external placement experience
- Assisting with student clinic organisation, professional transition support, and placement development
Where you'll work:
In this role, you'll be based in the sport therapy and rehabilitation team, on our green campus in the north of Plymouth.
In order to be successful in this role, you will be required to work on site.
