About the Role
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sports Administrator to support the operational functions of their organization in Plymouth . This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site presence for key meetings and tasks, with the flexibility of remote work for other responsibilities. You will play a crucial role in managing schedules, coordinating events, handling communications, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of sports programmes. This is an ideal position for an organized individual passionate about the Leisure & Sports sector, looking to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for sports personnel and teams.
- Assist in the planning and organization of sports events, tournaments, and competitions.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems for sports-related information.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including athletes, coaches, sponsors, and vendors.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within the sports or leisure industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general office procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage tasks effectively in both a remote and office-based setting.
