About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Sports Administrator to support their operations in Wolverhampton . This role plays a key part in the efficient functioning of sports programs, handling a variety of administrative, logistical, and communication tasks. You will work closely with coaches, athletes, and management, liaising both in-person for key events and remotely for day-to-day coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain sports schedules, fixtures, and event calendars.
- Handle athlete registrations, membership records, and related documentation.
- Coordinate logistics for sports events, including venue booking and equipment management.
- Act as a primary point of contact for inquiries from athletes, parents, coaches, and the public.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as required by management.
- Assist with the management of sports facilities and ensure they are ready for use.
- Process invoices and manage budgets related to sports programs and events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within a sports or leisure context.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with sports management software is an advantage.
