Sports Coach - Football Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and passionate Sports Coach specializing in Football Development to join their youth academy in Liverpool . You will be instrumental in nurturing young talent, developing players' technical skills, tactical understanding, and fostering a positive sporting attitude. This role is based at our state-of-the-art facilities and offers a chance to make a real difference in the lives of aspiring young athletes within the Leisure & Sports community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality football coaching sessions for various age groups.
• Develop individual player development plans, focusing on technical proficiency and tactical awareness.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging coaching environment that promotes fair play and sportsmanship.
• Monitor player progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other coaches to support player development holistically.
• Ensure adherence to all safeguarding policies and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., FA Level 2 or equivalent).
• Proven experience coaching youth football players at developmental levels.
• Strong understanding of football tactics, techniques, and child development principles.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Hold a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
