About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and organized Sports Event Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Coventry . This role is crucial in planning, executing, and managing a variety of sporting events, from local community tournaments to larger regional competitions. You will work closely with stakeholders, including athletes, sponsors, vendors, and venue managers, to ensure seamless event delivery. This hybrid position offers a balance of on-site event management and remote administrative tasks, providing a comprehensive experience in the fast-paced world of sports event planning, contributing to the vibrancy of the Leisure & Sports landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of sporting events, including venue booking, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Liaise with participants, coaches, and teams to manage registrations, communications, and on-site needs.
• Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Work with marketing teams to promote events and manage sponsor relationships, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, troubleshooting any issues that arise to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback to improve future event planning and execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning, preferably within the sports or leisure industry .
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
