Salary: £31,000–£34,000 + paid travel, overtime and bonuses

Marmon Stairlift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Stairlift Installation Engineer to join an established Stairlift and escalator company covering Bradford and the wider West Yorkshire area.

The successful candidate will install and commission new Stairlift equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently, in line with relevant regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.

The Stairlift Installation Engineer Role

Install new straight and curved stairlift equipment.

*

Complete mechanical and electrical installation work to a high standard.

*

Read and work accurately from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation specifications.

*

Carry out testing, adjustments and commissioning before handover.

*

Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards, regulations and company procedures.

*

Liaise professionally with customers, project teams and other engineers.

*

Maintain excellent standards of workmanship, organisation and site safety.

*

Provide a professional, customer-focused service when working in customers’ homes.

*

Explain the safe operation and use of stairlift equipment following installation or servicing.

Salary, Overtime and Bonus Package

*

£31k basic, rising to £34k upon 75% model sign-off.

*

£55k–£65k OTE + 10–15 hours’ weekly overtime at standard rate.

*

Installation bonuses: £10 straight / £20 curved.

*

£10 per review + £25–£50 E/W sales commission.

*

Weekly installation target bonuses.

Ideal Stairlift Installation Engineer Candidate

*

Strong experience installing stairlifts.

*

Experience with straight and/or curved stairlift systems.

*

Confident reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams and installation specifications.

*

Good knowledge of relevant stairlift regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards.

*

Able to work independently and as part of an engineering team.

*

Safety-conscious, reliable and committed to high-quality workmanship.

*

Professional, friendly and customer-focused when working in customers’ homes.

*

Willingness to travel when required.

*

Full UK driving licence
