Steel Erection Supervisor

Steel Erection Supervisor Required – £300 Per Day

Location: Winsford, Cheshire | Nationwide Projects

Our client, an established structural steel company based in Winsford, is looking to build its own dedicated, full-time steel erection team. They are seeking an experienced Steel Erection Supervisor to lead and oversee the team on projects nationwide.

Ideally, candidates will live in Winsford or within a commutable distance, although the role will involve travelling to sites across the UK.

The Role

Supervising and coordinating steel erection activities on projects nationwide.

*

Overseeing the installation of structural steelwork, including portal-framed buildings.

*

Leading and supporting the steel erection team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

*

Ensuring compliance with site health and safety procedures and relevant regulations.

*

Coordinating site activities and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

*

Travelling to sites across the UK, with overnight stays where required.

Candidate Requirements

*

Minimum of 10 years' experience in steel erection.

*

Previous experience supervising steel erection teams.

*

Valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) qualification.

*

Valid CSCS card.

*

IPAF certification.

*

CPCS Slinger/Signaller qualification.

*

NVQ Level 3 in Steel Erecting.

*

Experience installing portal-framed buildings is highly desirable.

*

Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

*

A commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety and workmanship.

*

Ideally based in Winsford or the surrounding areas, within commuting distance.

Pay & Benefits

£300 per day.

*

£100 per night accommodation allowance when working away.
