Stores Operative

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, own transportation is required.

We're looking for someone organised and proactive, who can manage stock, plan ahead and keep the stores operation running smoothly. Previous warehouse or stores experience is essential, along with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence.

Stores Operative Duties:

Managing stock levels and arranging orders when needed Receiving, checking and organising deliveries Keeping accurate stock records and inventory Using an FLT Counterbalance to move and store goods Planning ahead to ensure materials are available Keeping the stores area tidy and organised Pay, Hours & Benefits:

Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00. £14.50 per hour. 30-minute unpaid lunch break and 2 × 15-minute unpaid tea breaks. Temporary ongoing assignment Skills & Requirements:

Previous warehouse or stores experience Valid FLT Counterbalance licence – essential Organised, proactive and able to use initiative Good attention to detail and able to plan ahead Confident working independently and managing priorities If you're an organised and forward-thinking Stores Operative with a valid Counterbalance licence, we'd love to hear from you!
