About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead high-impact procurement initiatives. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from any location within the UK, and is focused on driving significant value through optimized sourcing strategies. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and engaging with suppliers globally, developing long-term strategic partnerships, and implementing best-in-class sourcing processes. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key categories of spend.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sourcing projects from initiation to completion.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis, including supplier landscape, cost drivers, and risk assessments.
• Negotiate major contracts, framework agreements, and pricing structures with global suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sourcing function and supplier base.
• Provide expert guidance and support to business units on sourcing best practices and market intelligence.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in strategic sourcing and category management, preferably in a senior role.
• Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and value creation through strategic sourcing.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, operating effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with e-sourcing tools and advanced procurement technologies is highly desirable.
